Weddings & Event Spaces

The Garden Pavilion

Treska, for whom the café here is named, was the matriarch of the extended family whose members have served as the stewards of this magical property since 1985.

The Garden Pavilion, whose steel beams began life 30 years ago as the frame for Treska's original glass greenhouse near by overlooks the expansive amphitheater and the lake.

Seating up to 200 people, and cooled from the water's edge, its elevated stage provides a perfect back drop for meaningful toasts, and the music to dance away the evening.

West Lawn

Two huge white oaks - each well over 300 years old -  define the corners of the west lawn and add a welcoming sense of place.

Along with the wrap around porch at Treska's, they provide ample shade on a summer's evening.

With views of the water in all directions and the sounds of a delicate fountain in the back ground, the West Lawn is a great place for  winding down.

The Lakeside Amphitheater

Reminiscent of the more formal terraced gardens of the area's historic estates, the amphitheater cradles the main stage.

The terraced design provides both a dramatic setting for the bridal party’s approach, as well as a clear view of the ceremony for all participants.

Witnessed by the the back drop of tall trees and the water brings in a sense of timelessness to every special ceremony.

The Garden Courtyard

Growing up, our earliest memories of dinner parties was Treska reminding us, that everything on the table was picked that day.

Now after decades of garden to table cuisine, we've made the garden connection even stronger. We are ready to welcome your guests, whether they are raising a glass at a colorful cocktail hour or enjoying a table-to-garden rehearsal dinner as they prepare to weave two families together.

Adorned with garlands of flowers, ornamental vegetables and climbing vines, our tables welcome guests to the trellised promenade through the center of the garden - Or let us set your table in the garden courtyard at the foot of a magnificent ancient oak.

The Overlook

For more intimate groups, The Overlook is defined by a circle of ancient pines that opens to a sunset view of the lake.

The cantilevered semi-circular deck overlooking the water, is large enough for the whole wedding party, as well as musicians for the procession.

Connected to the other venue choices by winding pathways that become part of an unforgettable ceremony, the Overlook can complete your vision of a wedding under the Blue Ridge skies.
